Updates on Wintertusk from Zeke

I just saw this post on the Wizard101 forum regarding Wintertusk. I thought it was interesting to share.

1. Yes, you will be required to complete Grizzleheim before you can enter Wintertusk. 
Oh boy, means I have to work on my wizards that haven't even completed GH! EEEEEK!! Only Kelsey Fireheart out of 8 Wizards I have completed GH. That's Karma for me!

2. No, there will not be a raise in the level cap. 
This is quite Interesting. Means this is just a minor world. The new monsters are probably not even that much stronger than we think. Maybe same as Celestia? But regarding the level cap, I wasn't surprised that they wouldn't raise it. This is way too soon for another ten levels to be added. They couldn't have created a HUGE world like Celestia. I think Wintertusk is just ONE simple area of GH. Thats it. Probably through those Nidavellir doors. 

3. Yes, players who are over level 58 will be able to obtain their pet.
This is a great relief for those who were so worried that they couldn't get their pets if they were already Legendary!!

4. No, the Selena Gomez quest/rewards will not be returning. 
Of course, Selena is way too busy to come back. She's still on her tour with the Crab King showing the rest of the Spiral their wonderful new concert.

5. Yes, players who have reached Legendary will be able to obtain their new school spell. 
YAY! I wasn't even worried. But still can't wait for the new School Spell. Wonder what ours will be???

6. Wintertusk storyline has nothing to do with the Morganthe story line. The horn in Grandmother Raven’s hand has no bearing on the prophecy."
OOOooooh.. This is sooo interesting. Now I wonder what stories Grandmother Raven has to tell. Means I wrote that poetry that I have yet to post for nothing. ROFL!

Kristen Silverthorn's Adventure in Wizard City

For the heck of it, I created a new wizard named Kristen Silverthorn on a new account.

I used my Life, Kaitlyn Lotus, on my first account to help her breeze through Wizard City without being bored. This way I could level both wizards at the same time.

I received my first quest school spell at level 2 and I received Freeze which stuns the opponent.

Nice spell, but not cool so far.

The Mystery of the Countdown!!

The mystery countdown is a "Easter Egg Hunt." Makes sense since some of the pets seemed like they were released too early. Pets, Eggs and soon Easter! That's my GUESS!!!

Morganthe; how I hope I will someday spell that correctly.. - Chapter 1

There was a Morgana Le Fay fable that said a horn will be used by someone unfaithful who accidently blows the horn. Therefore, unleashing the evil dreaded Morganthe.



A younger brother and older sister walks on a back trail in the woods. The boy notices a cave 50 feet away through the woods and decides to explore. The big sister says "No, don't go in there. You don't know if there's bears in there or something. I'm not responsible if something eats you. I don't wanna be grounded because of you!"

The brother replies, "Oh please you're always so paranoid! Will you just liven it up!" He resumes walking and goes into the cave which luckily is empty. As he explores, he comes upon a horn sitting behind a rock in the back of the cave. "Oh awesome! Look at this thing! It's a horn! I wonder what does it do? I wonder why it was hidden all way back in there??"

"Oh you better put that down. It's dirty and if it's hidden, who knows what it could do? It could be evil or whatever." The sister scoffs. 

"Really, wow. You're that paranoid? PLEASE!!! It's just a HORN!" The boy shakes his head in disgust. He again looks at the horn which feels so big in his hands.  "I wonder how it sounds." 

"DON'T BLOW IT! I have a bad feeling! Seriously, come on!!"

He scoffs and blows it. The sister plugs her ears, shuts her eyes and hides behind a rock. There's a loud BOOM! sound and Morganthe appears in a huge puff of purple smoke. 

"AH it feels so good to be free!!!" Morganthe says. She looks down and notices the boy right in front of her. He's shell shocked and is speechless.

"I TOLD YOU!!!" the sister screams from behind of the rock.

"Ah, are you children my new slaves? I guess so," Morganthe laughs cruelly. "We have a lot of work to take over the spiral and get rid of that bothersome Ambrose. Come my children!"

New Pets coming to the Spiral!!

This just in from Professor Greyrose:

"I know many of you were looking for information on some pets that have appeared lately, seemingly out of nowhere, and I wanted you to have this as our response:

It seems as if the gate on the holding pen swung open & a stampede through the Spiral has occurred.  We were trying to hold some of the pets back as holiday treats, but they were too anxious to make an appearance and escaped into the world.  Enjoy!"

And here's the first two pets that busted through! 

Nightmare = Regular Unicorn + Helephant

Pet Egg = Regular Dragon + Colossus

But wonder what other new combinations are out there?!

Wintertusk: A new world coming soon!

Wizard101 just announced that they are working on a new world called Wintertusk which will continue the storyline in GH! Seems like that one of the areas of Wintertusk is named Jotungaard.
There also will be a new NPC in GH named Grandmother Raven.

She will be in the new world and will explain the mysteries behind the spiral. Should be interesting!!

But, also we will get new spells to earn and new Level 58 pets to have for each main schools.

I'm wondering what new Level 58 pets will be and if they will include Critical and Block in its talents?

And since there will be new spells meaning there will be more points to earn? If so, that's great!

As a bonus, they are bringing back Crab Alley to continue the story of the Crab king after Selena leaves. Am so curious how the story goes.

What's even more, they stated that there are even more surprises coming!

So can't wait!!!

Was looking through my Reagents and saw this.

The Great Maze!

I had the greatest adventure today. I found myself in the biggest and the most fun maze ever! After exploring his houses for a LONG time, I turned to the creator, Cody Raventhorn and asked him where in the world did he think up those mazes and buildings.

For the Dragon Fjord, he said he wanted to create a dungeon in his house since it is like a castle inside. And of course, no castle should not be without a dungeon. And he wanted outside to be more roomier since there was a small size of land. He wanted it to be jungle like and he said for others who are interested in creating, lots of plants are necessary. He said they help blend in a lot of things and make it more realistic. He said he spent a few days creating inside and a few days creating outside.

As for his Crown Storm House, he said it took longer, about 4 days inside and 3 days outside. He worked hard to make sure inside was all from CL. His main intention was to drive people crazy. Personally, I think it worked! ROFL!
