World Rhino Day: Let's Unite To Help Them!

Rhinos are being hunted for their precious horns which gives a "medicinal" value. But horns are made from the same stuff that makes your fingernail and hair. It offers no medical cure for anything. Unfortunately, poachers want to cash in on this, which is a big problem right now.
There's FIVE Rhino Species:
Javan Rhino - There are less than 50 Javan Rhinos. The Vietnamese and Indian Javan are extinct.
Sumatran Rhino - There are less than 200 Rhinos. Their habitat is being destroyed because farmers are using it to produce and sell palm oil.
Black Rhino - There are 4,860 left. The West African Rhino subspecies became extinct in 2006.
Indian/One-Horned Rhino - There are about 3,000 left.
White Rhino - There are only SEVEN Northern White Rhinos left. The Southern White Rhino are about 20,000, thanks to conservation efforts.
Interesting Rhino Facts:
-The word, Rhinoceros came from "Rhinoceros bicornis", which was created in 1758 by Carolus Linnaeus.
-Rhinos have existed on Earth for 50 Million Years!
-There are 5 Rhino species which are also divided into 11 sub-species.
-The Greater One-Horned Rhino can reach 6.5 Feet Tall!
-The Sumatran Rhino, the smallest Rhino Species, can reach 3-5 Feet Tall.
-Their thick-layered skin protects them from thorns and sharp grasses.
-They have poor eyesight and rely more on their hearing and smell.
-Black Rhinos have hook lipped mouths while the White Rhinos have square lipped mouths.
-Black Rhinos are solitary by nature, but White Rhinos like being in groups. Although the males from each species are solitary.
-A group or a herd is called a "Crash."
-Rhinos are actually very intelligent, they can be trained by their keepers using clickers and treats!
-Rhino horns are made of Keratin like hair and fingernails.
-By training, Rhinos can learn how to paint and play fetch!
-Rhinos are FAST, they can run up to 30 Miles Per Hour!
-They can handle hot climates, but they do need access to a mud wallow to protect their skin from sunburn and bugs.
-They have three toes on each foot.
-They can be quite active. The Black Rhinos like to run and exercise a lot.
-They can't handle deep water because they can't swim.
-Rhinos use poop to communicate with other Rhinos. (Go Figure!)
-The Front Horn can reach up to FOUR feet long!
-The entire Rhino Population has been decreased by 90% since 1970 due to poaching.
-Rhinos are a huge benefit to the environment. They crash through the forest and make paths for other animals. Their poop helps the soil with nutrients and seeds that can germinate in its own ready-made pile of fertilizer. They dig wallows which helps other animals like frogs and bugs.
-African Rhino Species: Black Rhino and White Rhino.
-Asian Rhino Species: Greater One-Horned Rhino (Indian) Rhino, Sumatran Rhino, Javan Rhino.
HOW TO HELP!
-Donate to reputable organizations like Save The Rhino. Heck you can even fundraise to donate money to the organizations. Be careful of scam artists who are fraudulently raising money for Rhinos.

-Spread the Word about Saving Rhinos. The more people we reach and educate can do wonders! Write blog posts, make art, post about this on your social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, anywhere!
-You can follow and like the reputable Rhino organizations' Facebook page and Twitter page.
-And of course, don't buy any medicine that is made from Rhino Horn!
Tomorrow, Saturday the 22nd will be World Rhino Day. So let's use our Rhino Mounts ALL DAY in-game to support this cause! If you don't have a Rhino Mount, use an African themed mount such as Jaguar, Lioness, Lion, etc. You could do the same with your pets and outfit.

Undiscovered Pets - September 2013 Review
Upon reviewing an old blog entry that I made about Undiscovered Pets in September 2011. I thought to make an update on it and show you what has been discovered now and what still has NOT been discovered as of September 2013, 2 years later.

First, let's discuss what pictures that have been released of previous pets
that have NOT been discovered yet.
This picture is of pets that was from a promotional commercial that was on the Cartoon Network Channel. For ONE day, Wizards could get a free code on July 18th of 2009 to get one of the above pets. However, not all are seen in-game.
Death Scarab has been used as a special Promo pet
that is often given out as a prize often by Wizard101.
Ghoul is dropped. I have one. Here's the evidence:
Troll looks like Mustard Troll that's being dropped in Grizzleheim.
Same question as above. There is a Troll pet that exists, but it's green, not yellow like the one in the picture. That leads me to think it's really MUSTARD TROLL in the picture.
Spider looks like the Brown Spider that's being sold in Pet Shop in Mooshu.
Does this mean they're the SAME pet?
Hmm, I wonder since the Troll issue says a lot.
If they are, and it's just mislabeled in the picture, that would explain a lot.
So that means two pets are LEFT to discover just from that one picture.
(Fire) Elf and Ghost
My biggest question is it that are some of them hybrids, first generation pets and dropped?
Or all are first generation pets, either by special code, store, dropped?
The Fire Elf in this picture has a red hat and robe with yellow trim. It's different from the Yellow Fire Elf who has yellow and orange clothes.
Some people say they think the Ghost is actually the Yellow Ghost which already exists in game. What ya think?

Pictures from Wizard101
of Undiscovered Pets
Okay, we all know about Fire Beetle now. But, look at those previous photos that were released BEFORE I personally discovered the combination to make the Fire Beetle pet. In some of them, the Fire Beetle is in it. This proves that the other pets in the pictures that Wizard101 are real and that we have not discovered them yet.
People are saying that the Gobbler in this picture is NOT the regular Red Gobbler. If it's a different gobbler, I can imagine it to be a Fire Gobbler or Balance Gobbler? AND notice the original is called RED Gobbler. Why say RED unless there are other colors that exists?
Notice the Armored Skeleton pet? It's right next to the Fire Beetle,
Interesting, isn't it? And now BOTH of them exists!
And finally the Steel Golem!
Some people say its a KI pet. I totally disagree. I do not believe that KI would be so callous to post a picture of an awesome pet knowing that children CANNOT get it. So therefore, it does exist, but is simply undiscovered.
It is listed on the Age Conversion List which proves my point that it HAS to be in-game or just not released yet.

In this video, yes, a Fire Elf is hopping around next to a regular Scarab pet at 20 seconds!
And now the Scarab is NOW DISCOVERED.
The Fire Elf is still not, it is the one with a red hat and suit with yellow trim like the one in the picture below.

Other Important Pet Mentions
I said in 2011: "Storm Bird was given to a player who lost items or for some glitch.
For some reason, Wizard101 decided to take it back,
so whoever had it don't have it anymore.
However, Wizard101 called it a "Crafted" Pet
which leads me to think that it's a Hybrid.
I don't think it hurts to try to make a Storm Bird since
there is a Fire Bird and a Ice Bird."

HOWEVER.. this pet HAS to exist in my opinion because there is..

So the only Bat that is missing is Ice and Balance.

Which Pets to Discover!
Now.. after all of those pictures and etc..
Here's a list of pets we all should focus on to discover.
I also listed the most likely pets that could make them next to each name.
It's NOT a confirmed combination, but a LIKELY possibility of how to make them.
So don't hold me against my own unconfirmed opinions which is why some of them I marked with a ?.
That means I am even MORE not sure about it.

When mixing for a brand new pet,
you MUST use a pet that LOOKS like the pet
and a pet that could force its school upon the other.
FOR EXAMPLE:
You cannot get a Ghost from Helephant and a Snake.
That doesn't make sense.
If you need a Storm Bird..
It makes more sense to use a Ice or Fire Bird for looks
then a Storm pet for its school.
PRESTO, a Storm Bird!
If you don't have a clue what school the new pet could be,
try using a pet that might has something the other needs.
FOR EXAMPLE:
For Ghost-
Use any colored Ghost with a Pale Maiden or Ghost Hound..
Maybe the Pale Maiden and Ghost Hound could make it transparent white?
Or use an Ice School since it has White pets?
You could force the colored Ghost to be transparent, white or both this way.

Pets We Have Not Seen In Videos and/or Pictures
Have you always wondered if some pets you have could come in another school version?
Bats - We have Fire, Myth, Storm, Ice, Death, Life that there's no Balance, which should be added to the list.
Crows - There's Ice, Fire, Storm, Death (Dark Crow). So that makes me think that there should be Myth, Balance, Life birds.
Ghosts - Since there's now blue, yellow, red and green ghosts.. I'm starting to wonder if there's orange and purple in addition to the white one that was a promo pet. I am still trying to think what other pets we should keep an eye on.
Treants - There's Life, Death, Myth, Fire. But what about Storm, Ice, Balance?
Death Hounds - There was a Death Hound, Ice Hound, Fire Hound - all with ONE head.. I do not know if the Orthrus mixes counts as Hounds.. But what about Balance, Myth, Storm, and Life?
Beetles - We have Fire, Ice, Storm.. I'm wondering if there's even Myth, Death, Life Beetles? Remember, Beetles have spiky shells. Scarabs have smooth shells
Scarabs - We have Life, Death, Balance, but no Myth, Fire, Storm, Ice. Gosh the list goes on and on!
