A Horrible Terrible Very Bad Day For Wizards & Pirates

Have you ever had a bad day? I bet you did. But what would be a bad day for Wizards and Pirates?

A Wizard's Bad Day is when their mount is too low on magic to fly.

A Pirate's Bad Day is when there's no wind for their ship's sails.

A Wizard's Bad Day is when their wand decides to play hide & seek. Emphasis on hide.

A Pirate's Bad Day is when they can't find their belt. A full moon isn't attractive.

A Wizard's Bad Day is when Penny Dreadful needs help AGAIN, interrupting your quest.

A Pirate's Bad Day is when Captain Avery has no quests.

A Wizard's Bad Day is when their wand decides to play annoying theme songs. If it plays the "Jaws" theme song for you, I'd be concerned.

A Pirate's Bad Day is when their cannons shoot blanks. Enuff said.

A Wizard's Bad Day is when they get attacked by a Humongofrog. You will need a raincoat.

A Pirate's Bad Day is when there's no more yum-n-ade. I think Ryan drank it all.

A Wizard's Bad Day is when they can't get a piece of gear that they desperately need from an defeated enemy. "What do you mean, you don't have it? But I just won!"

A Pirate's Bad Day is when their companions decides to be lazy in a fight. Ratbeard's excuse? "But I'm eating cheese!"

A Wizard's Bad Day is when they are not ready to learn a spell. "What do you mean? I failed my last test?!"

A Pirate's Bad Day is when Ratbeard and Bonnie Anne argues... AGAIN.

A Wizard's Bad Day is when their pet resists being trained by playing dead.

A Pirate's Bad Day is when skarkeets decides to fly right above you... SPLAT! Get an umbrella pronto.

And PS: And A Gamer's Bad Day is when there's no more games to play!

And PSS: A Blogger's Bad Day is when they draw a blank on what to write for the day. Just saying.

What's Coming To Wizard101 Soon?!

Spring Update is coming soon and with that, Wizard101 has begun releasing teasers in anticipation for the upcoming Test Realm. What will we see? We can only guess from their teasers! I have listed all of the teasers below for you to keep track and use to come up with your own theories!

March Newsletter Sneak Peek

In the March newsletter from Wizard101, they released a new picture which is below with a cryptic message.

"Who could these shadowy creatures be? Do you think their presence is a bad omen to the spiral?" -Wizard101

Offiical Fansite Exclusive Teaser

Thanks to Wizard101 for the above picture of a teaser which is exclusive to Wizard101 official fansites.

March 3rd Vine Teaser

Another new vine from Wizard101 showing another mystery boss in Azteca?!

My Prediction?

They could be new skeleton key bosses? The top photo could be of a golden skeleton key boss in Polaris, then a stone skeleton key boss in Azteca and then lastly, a wooden skeleton key boss in Krokotopia? Am I wrong? Am I right? We shall see!

Another thought, what schools would the bosses be? We still do not have skeleton key bosses for certain schools yet. So, I thought maybe balance for Krok, myth for Azteca and death for Polaris. But Alexander Lionheart brought up a good point. Polaris could be Shadow. He also thought that maybe Azteca would be death. Also don't forget Ice is also missing.

March 11th Vine Teaser

More new vines?! What could this be?! A new quest?!

This character looks like he's from Celestia. Look at his clothes. They look like the kind that belongs on the Marleybone Engineers in Celestia. Wait, does this mean that he will give us a quest that will lead us to Celestia, the world where we discovered the Astral Spells first, which will allow us to eventually enter the locked Astral School Classsroom in the Arcanum?! I hope so. I'm dying to see what it looks inside. I bet it's EPIC!

How To Be A Great Leader

Empress Antuskette was the Empress of Polaris until the Patriote army revolts against her rule and dethrones her. They did not like how she ruled Polaris and greatly disliked her. Apparently, she made for a very bad leader. So what makes a great leader?

Leader should encourage and praise others.

A Leader should be fair and kind to everyone.

Leader should not insult or degrade others.

Leader should listen and understand others' side, even if they disagree.

Leader should be able to understand, accept and handle differences with others.

Leader should keep a positive atmosphere.

Leader should try to help their team work as one unit.

A Leader should not carry grudges.

A Leader should remain humble because they were new once.

A Leader should not walk over people, but to pull them along with them as well as lead them to greatness.

A Leader should not encourage drama, start drama or even let drama drag on.

A Leader should keep an open communication at all times with others.

The above tips are also great for people who want to be future leaders. I bet if Empress Antuskette followed the above tips, she would still have been the Empress of Polaris. If you can think of any others I've missed, let me know.

How To Set Up In Game Videos To Earn Crowns

I am reposting this old post because I notice that some people still have problems setting up in game videos to help them earn crowns. If you know of anyone who's having problems with this, please spread the word about this blog post.

Originally posted on October 29th, 2014

Yes you can earn Crowns In-Game watching videos! Here's five simple steps how to.

FIRST STEP - go to Wizard101.com or Pirate101.com .. Yes you are able to do this in either games. Log in and head to your Account information.

SECOND STEP - Click on Parental Controls and make sure the "Earn Crown Offers" is checked.

THIRD STEP - Close all of your game windows if they are currently open and relog back in. Once back in, go to your Options and pick the fifth tab and make sure "Earn Crowns" option is On.

FOURTH STEP - Then the Earn Crowns icon will pop up next to the Crown Shop. If it's in Pirate101, it will pop up next to the friend list!

FIFTH STEP - Once you click on that icon, you should be able to watch videos and earn crowns. Just click play and it should give you 10 crowns at the end of the 30 seconds clip. Don't forget to click on "Continue" at the bottom of the screen when you're done with the video!

Yes, I want to earn more crowns! If you are outside of U.S.A, the videos you can watch is much fewer, so be patient and maybe you will get lucky.

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below and I'll try to help you as best as I can. Thank you.

Brand New Mobile Game from KingsIsle: AlphaCat!

Aliens from outer space tries to invade Planet Whiskar, which is filled with the feline kind. But they figure out that they made a mistake because those cats are not cute little innocent cats. They know how to fight with tooth and claw. And they're fighting back HARD. Nobody lays a paw on their kittens!

You enter the game as the Captain of Furball 1, the AlphaCat, and as the defender of Planet Whiskar. You also get to collect characters to build your crew to show them aliens just how tough you guys are. You can collect over 60 characters for your crew. That will give you plenty of choices who to assign as your fighting buddies! Together, you can explore over 90 constantly changing dungeons to find rare treasures for your crew. As for loot, you will be able to obtain golden pods, if lucky, that could give you a chance in obtaining an Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary crew member. Regular crew pods could give you a chance to get a Common, Uncommon or Rare crew member. You can also upgrade your AlphaCat and crew to become the best captain and crew in the galaxy!

The way you play the game is simple. The more tiles you match, the more damage you make. I'm so curious what else we will be able to do in game and what kind of bosses we will meet.
