They're like cotton candy which makes me hungry... But anyway, they're found in the Crown Shop for 3,000 Crowns each.

New In Live Realm: Welcome To Daily Assignments!

We now will have Daily Assignments that you can do every day. After completing every day, you get a reward! Every time you complete the Daily Assignment, you will get a better reward than the last. Be advised that you only get ONE Daily Assignment per day. Also, wizards who are Level 12 and above can participate in this.

To start this, simply go to Aegon Statz in Ravenwood, Wizard City who will give you a quest, "The Gravulum Order" to learn how to do Daily Assignments.

My First Assignment!

I was given a quest and assignment to defeat a Rotting Fodder. And once I defeated a Rotting Fodder in the Haunted Cave, I was informed that I had completed my Daily Assignment.

I returned to Aegon who gave me a badge for completing my quest and first assignment.

How To Check Your Progress?

Before I completed my Daily Assignment, it showed Day 1 to be blinking and unchecked.

After I finished my first assignment, a check showed up on Day 1. What an easy way of keeping track of what you've done!

You Even Get A Cool Furniture Reward!

That's not the best part I think. The furniture above is! When completing your quest from Aegon, he will reward you with your own Gravulum furniture that you can place in your house.

It's even interactable! You can check your progress there!

One of the great things about the Daily Assignments is that if you can't complete a Daily Assignment, you do NOT lose any progress. You can simply go back and pick up from where you left it last!

Oh, I know I'll be doing this every day. This looks quite exciting! I can't wait to see what that treasure chest icon contains as well as the great Exclamation Point!

How To Set Up The Gear Vault In Your House?

It's quite easy and similar to Seed Vaults and Music Players.

1. Once in your house, Clicky Click this button.

2. Once the interface opens, pull the Gear Vault from your backpack to place it down.

3. Once placed on the ground or floor, click on the hat button to open the Gear Vault. This is like the Music Player or the Seed Vault.

How Does Gear Vault Work?

When you open it via the furniture placement interface and this window opens... If you do not understand what I mean, simply look at the picture above. That hat button needs to be clicked on to open it.

Once opened, this window will show everything that is in your backpack.

This lists what is in your Gear Vault. You can have up to 100 gear pieces in your Gear Vault. All you have to do is click the button with the hat that is at the bottom of the interface screen to add or remove gear pieces.

Please be aware that you can only place ONE Gear Vault per house just like Seed Vaults. One inside, one outside. But interestingly enough, it says Crowns Only. So I checked the Crown Shop and it's available there for 1995 Crowns. This means we have two ways of obtaining a Gear Vault - Crafting or Buying It With Crowns.

May I say, I LOVE YOU WIZARD101?!!!!! This will help me so much when opening packs that's for sure!

Brand New Mobile Game from KingsIsle, the EverClicker!

There's yet another brand new mobile game from KingsIsle, the Everclicker! It's currently only available in Canada, but it will be released worldwide in Spring 2016. This game has Wizard101 monsters that you will easily recognize.

There are now new fish in Live Realm and they are found in... Zafaria! Yes, imagine it, zebra, hippo, lion themed fish and more!

New Fishing Level Cap Or Not?

I know you might have heard that they were going to raise the level cap then changed their plans. If you are behind on the news, let me explain. You see, Wizard101 was planning to raise the maximum fishing level from Level 15 to Level 20. But Wizard101 changed their plans and reverted the level cap back to Level 15. They will hold off the plan for the Level 20 level cap for the future until we are really ready. Why? It's simple, there are just not enough fish with XP that would help us reach Level 20, much less Level 15. But hey, don't worry. Someday, we will be Prodigious Anglers. But first, we need to polish our skills and catch more fish before then. I know that I want to be Level 15 first! I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and work for it, ahem, or reel for it? This obviously also means that the badge is not available. Not at least until we are able to earn it.

Wait, What Is First Catch XP?

If you are new to Fishing or you forgot what "First Catch XP" means, let me explain. The first time you catch a new type of fish, you will get ONE TIME ONLY large amount of XP which is your First Catch XP. Then any fish after that, will give you small amounts of XP.

For example, if you catch a Hippo Tang for the first time, you will receive 1800 xp. But if you catch another Hippo Tang, you will receive 18 xp.

If you wonder what is the regular xp for any fish, it's quite easy to figure out. All you have to do is remove the zeros from the First Catch XP and what's remaining is the regular xp. For example, Rhino Fish gives 2500 xp for the first fish, but more Rhino Fish after that will give you 25 xp. 2500, remove the zeros, that leaves 25 and that is the regular xp.

It's Too Hard Getting Fish In Zafaria!

For those who are having difficulties in obtaining the fish below, here's my advice. What did I do to get the new fish below?

1. I used the Rank 1 Sentinel spell which chases all of them away.
2. I first winnowed away all other schools except the one I need. For example, Elephant Fish is Storm. For that fish, I used Storm winnow. This way I can make sure there are storm fish only in that pond.
3. Once the regular fish shadow was close to the edge, I put everyone to sleep. But if necessary, I will charm all fish to come to me before putting them to sleep. Be warned, this will make all sentinels come which might make your job difficult. If you got to, just be patient and wait for them to move away after charming them to come.
4. I put lures nearby to make sure the nearby sentinels are tempted and I can get rid of them.
5. Then I'm sure it's safe, I finally put the lure near the regular fish to nab. Then I pray that the sentinels don't come rushing in. Those sentinels are mighty tricky!

You will also have to keep that Reset Pond spell handy, so you can keep resetting your pond just in case your fish has been elusive or you have made a mistake chasing it away. If you have any additional questions, simply post in the comments and I'll get back to you!
